Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her best-known role is Skyler White on the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in an Drama Series. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. She studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her journey in Chicago, working in theatre role for several years. Then she moved to Hollywood and began acting in movies and television shows. Anna was the first to get a major part as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. After guest appearances as a on several TV shows and films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's She was then chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood and was filming in the mid 2000's. Skyler was on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully and Deadwood were also part of her career. Gunn has also appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio show that premiered that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and their eventual break up echoes last years of Walter White's story.
